Ceramics in the DMDM exhibition series "Design processes in close-up"

Continuing the series of pop-up exhibitions "Design processes in close-up", the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design (Riga, Skārņu street 10) in cooperation with the association "Dzaina eksporta alianse" offers the third exhibition - "Autumn", which

viewable from September 18 to December 1, 2024.

The concept and visual design of the cycle finds inspiration in four seasons - spring, summer, autumn or in winter, where the mood is created by the color range characteristic of the season, highlighting the traditional narrowness of Latvian design connection with organic forms, use of natural materials and textures.

"Vaidava Ceramics" presents the already well-known "Eclipse GOLD" collection at the exhibition. Perfect, but at the same time felt handmade, luxurious, but restrained at the same time. It's great that the company confirms its desire to develop cooperation with future professionals - dishes harvest for storage is Ādams Sūna, a graduate of the Riga Design and Art High School (now LMA 1st year student's) diploma thesis "Džukste", which was completely created by "Vaidava Ceramics" with the help of the company

technical and technological capabilities. Work and project manager RDMV Daina Zvanītāja.

The series of exhibitions "Design processes up close" was created in honor of the 35th anniversary of the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design for the anniversary in cooperation with the association "Design Export Alliance". The project offers four in a row during 2024

pop-up exhibitions. All implemented in an innovative format, integrating them in the permanent exhibition on the 3rd floor of DMDM "Design process", which provides an insight into the history of Latvian design since the 1960s.

We have another final exhibition "Winter" ahead of us.
